Since 1991, Surry Community College (SCC) and Winston
Salem State University (WSSU) have collaborated to allow students
with the associate degree to further their education.
Students who hold the Associate Degree in Nursing and who are
registered nurses may complete the Bachelor of Science in Nursing
in two years. Classes are offered at SCC on one evening a week.
