Business Administration: Please note that Business majors must
first transfer to the University in the College of Arts and Sciences,
before consideration can be given to admission into the School

Clinical Lab Science: All General College requirements to include
MATH030 and STAT011 or MATH031; CHEM011, 011L, 021, 021L, 041,
041L, 061; BIOL011, 011L, 045, 063L.
Dental Hygiene: All General College requirements to include two
courses in acceptable Mathematics, two courses are required and
STAT011 is preferred; CHEM011, 011L, 021, 021L or BIOC007, 008;
SOCI010 and one other acceptable social science; PSYC010; COMM033
or 052 or COMM013. Also recommended, BIOL045, 063L and MCRO055.
Education:
Child Development & Family Studies: Birth through Kindergarten:
All General College requirements to include PSYC010 and one lab
natural science; SOCI030 and one additional social science; and
PSYC024 as an elective.
Elementary (K-6): All General College requirements to include
HIST022; two courses from POLI041, ECON010, ANTH010, SOCI030, GEOG020;
One biological science, one physical science (one must have a lab),
PSYC010, and one additional course from natural sciences; One course
from: ART031, 032, 033, 034, 035, 036, 037, 039, 043; MUSC041,
045; DRAM015, 016, 020.
Middle Grades (6-9): All General College requirements. You should
consult the major sheet or the Undergraduate Bulletin for requirements
for the different areas of concentrations within this major.
Secondary Education: All General College requirements. We encourage
you to consult the major sheet or the Undergraduate Bulletin for
information on the specific majors offered at this level and courses
needed.
Journalism: Journalism applicants should request the Journalism
and Mass Communication major sheet to determine requirements and
courses needed for sequences available as part of this major. All
General College requirements to include ECON010, POLI041, HIST022,
PSYC010, and SOCI010 as part of the General College requirements.
POLI042 is also recommended for the News-Editorial sequence.
Nursing: All General College requirements to include STAT011;
CHEM011, 011L, 021, 021L, or BIOC007, 008; BIOL011, 011L, 045,
063L; MCRO051 or 055; PSYC010; and PHYI092. SOCI010 and ANTH010
are the recommended social sciences.
Pharmacy: Note that Pharmacy transfers must apply directly to
the School of Pharmacy.

Health Policy and Administration: All General College requirements
