Library staff members pay their last respects to the Highland Library System, in use since the early 1990's, and shut down July 10, 2008. Since October, 2007, the Library has been moving the holdings in the Highland system to th CCLINC Sirsi system, a consortium of 46 community college libraries in North Carolina.
