Access to LearningExpress Library

Directions

  1. Click on the above link to enter the database.
  2. You must be a currently enrolled student or faculty/staff member to have "off campus" access OR have a valid library card to ask for a NCLive password at the Circulation or Reference desks.
  3. You MUST sign in as a New User if you have never used this database before. This will allow you to set up a unique account in order to save and score your tests among various options. Please remember to save your ID and Password for later use.
  4. You will be directed to a Choose a Subject page where you can choose the test you wish to take. The My Account feature allows for use of more than one test.
  5. READ the Help screen for FAQs on a wide variety of questions concerning taking the test, scoring the tests, getting results, etc.
  6. EXAMPLE: There are 2 Cosmetology tests, both have 100 questions and can take up to 2 hours to take.
  7. After choosing the appropriate test, you have a number of options with your account:
    • You can save your responses and take up to 30 days to complete a test.
    • You can time the test.
    • You can score the test, print out basic scoring information and look onscreen at the correct answers.
    • You can repeat a test over and over, BUT the test questions will not change.
    • You can get a personalized analysis that identifies your strengths and weaknesses for better preparation.
    • PLEASE remember to always READ the screens to find out your options.
