Surry Community College has a learning opportunity coming up for
anyone interested in Grape Growing or Wine Making. If you have
thoughts of planting a vineyard or building a winery, this will
be an informative introduction to the process.

Description:
This one-day seminar will be presented by Surry Community College’s
Viticulture and Enology instructors. The seminar will provide an
overview of the factors involved in establishing a vineyard and
winery. Topics will include economics, vineyard site and variety
selection, equipment needs and more. The seminar will consist of
presentations, discussion, tour of the campus vineyard and winery,
informative handouts, a bag lunch, and time asking questions.
Pre – Payment is required to reserve your spot in this
class!
The Registration and Pre-Payment must be received by Monday,
November 14, 2005. You may come by the college or use fax or mail.
Cash, Credit Card, Check, or Money Order is accepted.
Space is limited!
Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for Grape & Wine
Seminars. You are not registered until Surry Community College
has received payment in advance of the class. Class size is limited
and class openings are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Students will be placed in a class when the Continuing Education
office receives your advance registration and payment. The tuition
cost for the course is $60.
