Day classes meet in the classroom from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday for three weeks. Evening classes meet from 5:30 pm until 9:30 pm Monday thru Thursday. Range and Road sessions are broken down into eleven 4-hour sessions which are scheduled at various times throughout the week.

Student will learn about the history of the trucking industry, operation and maintenance of the truck, trip planning and hours of service, employer and dispatch relations and much more.

One-on-one instruction on the range and road makes this program unique. The student has the undivided attention of the instructor and no distractions from other students.

We make arrangements for a third party tester to administer the road test portion of the North Carolina CDL exam to our students.

The cost of the course is $3185.00. Other fees for the course are fees for books, motor vehicle records, DOT physical, drug test, and license fees. We provide information on student loan programs and work with a variety of state agencies such as Employment Security Commission, Vocational Rehab and Workforce Investment Act.

Lifetime placement assistance is offered to all graduates at no additional cost. Over 90 employers hire graduates from this location, some with tuition reimbursement programs. Recruiters are scheduled to speak to students and we assist students in the application process. Many of our students have job offers before they complete the program.
