The State Medical Assistance Team II initial training is a
combination of web based, classroom, and practical instruction to
ready team members to participate on a hospital based SMAT II team.
The program covers weapons of mass destruction, decontamination,
disaster medicine, and other topics related to disaster response,
The program is open to accepted members of the states SMAT teams.
Members are required to be cleared by the team leader prior to
completing the program.
Total hours: 16.
Must have a minimum of 15 students to start this class.
